Please excuse me while I nerd out!

To say I squealed (internally of course, gotta keep it cool) is an understatement. I’ve seen images of mermaids before and kept telling myself “one day, I’d love to photograph mermaids” and it finally happened!!!!! Sqqqquuuuueeeeeee

Emily + Hollis

The amount of smiling I did while photographing, uploading, culling, editing and sending these photos made my cheeks hurt 🥺

I am beyond thrilled to have the honor of photographing another photographer and creative. While one just graduated another begins their journey back to school. Best of luck and have to most fun in Boone, Emily and Hollis! Y’all are beautiful and brought joy to my heart!

Dare to be different! Your wedding can be anything you want it to be. Not only can you have a beautiful non traditional wedding ceremony, but you can also save some serious money in the process. I wanted to share a recent wedding shoot I did with this lovely couple at Looking Glass Falls in Brevard, NC.

Lindsey and Kassie originally planned to have a traditional wedding with all their friends and family in Illinois. They were in the middle of planning when COVID-19 started becoming a major concern. One of the many things they ended up giving up was having professional photos taken of their wedding day. In order to recapture this moment, we picked a date to meet out in the mountains.

Recently, more and more people have chosen to forgo a big extravagant wedding in favor of a micro wedding. The pandemic put a LOT of things on hold or moved or last minute changes for a lot of people. Whether you decided to get hitched in a courthouse anyway and canceled all venues or had to put all plans on pause until later. Im here for ya! If now is your time, lets do this. Violet
A most stunning human being I have the pleasure of knowing and photographing. Her energy is beyond glowing. I had a grand master plan of a location to shoot at but we ended up just walking around and talking. Then went for drinks and fries afterwards! I never talked more during a session than I did with her lol
