Recently I visited the Hinton Fire Department in Hinton, Wv. While I was here I got to see some really nice trucks the department has, some really old apparatuses still being used. Unfortunately I did not get to see the departments ladder which was one truck I really wanted to see.
I also didn’t get to speak to anyone here at the station so I grabbed some pictures and left.

This is one of the biggest departments I’ve visited, I’m really happy that I got to visit my hometowns fire department, really cool trucks.

This evening I visited Greeneville Fire Department station 2.
I got to see many apparatuses stationed here. Seeing:
Engine 2 & spare
Incident command/battalion 1
Special Operations
Battalion 1, spare
Tower 1

I got to talk to some really respectful members part of GFD, they helped over so much with photos and understood what I was asking, these gentleman did awesome.
I’m glad they helped out with the photos. Without these guys I wouldn’t be posting anything today.
What an amazing station and crew I got to visit today.

This afternoon me and my family started making our way home from Pipestem, Wv. We traveled to Abington, Va, to visit a fire station. While we approached the station we noticed a heavy crowd downtown and seeing many police units blocking the road. I arrived at the Abington Fire Department and spoke to a very respectful man, I forgot his name because I suck at names. I got to walk around the trucks grabbing a lot of knowledge on them and pictures. I also spoke to the chief of the department and was respectful.

I was then recommended to go to the event being held downtown to see the SRT bearcat they have and more. Every first responder I talked to here in Abington was insanely respectful. While I was here, I got to see an ambulance respond with lights and sirens, I’m glad I got a video of it.

I was only here for an hour or so and left to head back home but I got a lot of photos and videos. What an awesome event I attended.

This morning I visited the West Virginia State Police office located in Princeton, Wv. I got to see their dodge Durango and ford explorer, I also got to see their Tahoe but did not get any photos.
I didn’t get to grab lots of photos as they were busy but I was told I can come back tomorrow and get some better photos.
I’m very thrilled I got to see some of WVSP cars as they are very pretty to see in person and up close. The gentleman I talked to was respectful. I’ll be getting some more photos as I’m in and should post them shortly!
