This evening, I visited Sunnyside VFD Station 18

I got to speak with Chief, John who was very respectful to me and very awesome.

I got here around 5:45ish and started taking photos shortly after. While here I learned a lot about the department, this station only has 3 trucks, brush, engine and tanker. Yet, 3 beautiful trucks.

I’m glad I was able to visit the station today and speak to Chief, John. I want to give him a big thanks on being so respectful to me, pulling out the trucks and staging them for me.

While here, I grabbed a photo that was in the departments parking lot, really awesome spot for photos and scenery.

This evening, I visited the Debusk Volunteer Fire Department

I got here around 6pm and met with Lieutenant, Jordan who was very respectful and some others shortly after.

While I was here, I also got to attend the departments Monday training session including hoses, minuteman drills and more.

Unfortunately, the department had sold its beautiful tanker I was hoping to see and got a new one. The new tanker is beautiful and is still being worked on as it needs some touches done to it.

I want to give a thank you to the members of Debusk VFD as I was able to spend my day with them this evening and let me take photos of their trucks.

This evening, I revisited the Town of Weaverville NC Fire Department
I showed up around 11:30 to watch the departments new engine be pushed into service.
I got to see some familiar faces from last time when I was here.

I was able to see
• Engine 82 (new)
• Rescue 8
• Ladder 8
• Battalion Chief
• Tanker 8
• Tanker 8-2
• Engine 8
• Medic 8 - Buncombe County EMS
• Tac 8
• Engine 8-2
And some other units with other departments and WFD.

I spent majority of my day here at the station around the awesome, respectable crews.

I want to give a big thanks to these gentlemen and some others.
