Can we normalize not ghosting photographers after inquiring?

We spend time responding to inquiries, checking availability, answering questions, creating custom quotes, and helping you find the best fit for your session or wedding day. If you decide to go a different direction, that’s completely okay. If you’re not ready to book, that’s okay too.

But a simple:
“Thank you, but we’ve decided to go another route.”
or
“We’re going to hold off for now.”

goes a long way.

Photographers are real people behind the screen, not automated booking systems. A 10-second message provides closure and allows us to move forward instead of wondering if you’re still interested.

Kindness costs nothing, and communication is always appreciated.

📸 MODEL SPOTLIGHT ⚾🥎

A huge thank you to Sophia and Mason for answering my model call and absolutely crushing their session! These two were such a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Their confidence, positive attitudes, and willingness to jump right into creative ideas made this session so much fun.

Since both of them are dedicated athletes at Bowler High School, it was only fitting that we incorporated something they're passionate about into their photos. Mason's love for baseball and Sophia's dedication to softball added a personal touch that truly helped tell their story and showcase who they are beyond the camera.

I am incredibly grateful to both of them (and their families) for trusting me with this opportunity. Model calls play an important role in helping me grow my portfolio, explore new creative ideas, and continue developing my skills, and I couldn't do it without amazing people like these two.

Thank you again, Sophia and Mason, for your time, energy, and willingness to be part of this experience. You both were fantastic models, and I can't wait to share more images from this session soon!

Attention clients — it’s that time of year when Mother Nature keeps us guessing. One day it’s 70° and beautiful, and the next it’s 40° and feels like snow is on the way.

With the constant weather changes, there’s also been an increase in seasonal illnesses. Because of this, I want to share a quick reminder about scheduling:

If the weather is less than ideal (rain, snow, severe wind, etc.), I will reach out to reschedule your session — most likely the morning of, since we all know how quickly conditions can change.

Additionally, if you’re feeling under the weather, please don’t hesitate to contact me to reschedule. I completely understand that things come up, and I want you to look and feel your absolute best in your photos. Your health and comfort always come first.

You guys showed UP when I asked for models—and I’m so excited to start working with you! 🥹

I’ll be sending messages out tomorrow to start scheduling sessions. My class kicks off this Monday, and now that I have my assignment timeline, I can finally get everything organized!

I’ll be needing a wide variety of sessions and images through the rest of my program leading up to graduation next year—so this is just the beginning 🤍

Friendly reminder… your photographer is human too

Behind the camera is a real person with a real life; families to love on, children to raise, homes to take care of, and moments they don’t want to miss either.

We pour our hearts into your memories. We stay up late editing, we show up early, we carry the emotional weight of your biggest days… and we do it because we genuinely care.

But we’re not robots.
We can’t be available 24/7.
We can’t always respond instantly.
And sometimes, life happens on our side too and delays can happen.

Grace goes a long way. Communication matters. And mutual respect makes the entire experience better for everyone involved.

When you choose your photographer, you’re not just hiring a service; you’re trusting a human being with your story.

And that’s something we never take lightly 🤍

Yes, I know this is Easter weekend 💐 — as I’m not local to Rice Lake, this is the only date that fits my travel schedule. If this day doesn’t work for you, please still reach out! I may be able to accommodate an alternate time.

📍 April 12, 2026 — Green Bay, WI

🌷 Please note: Both dates will have tentative backup options in case Mother Nature decides not to cooperate (because… Wisconsin 😅).

These sessions are perfect for capturing the sweet, genuine love between you and your littles — moments you’ll treasure forever 💗

💳 A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book your session.

Your date will be penciled in once requested, but if the non-refundable deposit is not received within 24 hours, the session will be released and cancelled.

Hello everyone! I wanted to take a moment to apologize for being a bit MIA recently. Between family matters and my school schedule, the past few weeks have been quite full. I truly appreciate each and every one of you for your patience and understanding during this hectic time—thank you so much for your continued support.

All galleries have officially been delivered 🎉 I’ve also followed up with a few of you regarding outstanding contracts that still need signatures. Please note that all signed contracts are due by 2/15/26. If a signed contract is not received by that date, the session will be canceled to allow availability for clients on the waiting list.

On another note, Wisconsin winter hasn’t been too harsh this year! If you’re interested in scheduling an outdoor winter session, I do have a few February spots still available—feel free to reach out.

Lastly, summer and fall books are officially open as well! I’m excited for what’s ahead and look forward to working with so many of you.
