My goodbye/hello post.

Whew. This is me 3 years ago. 3 years I built this studio on a dream to bring photographers together. I have been so blessed! Now, it’s time for me to say goodbye. What a beautiful gift this studio has been to me. I have met so many dear souls here & have friendships I am forever grateful for. For everyone who uses Haze for their own clients, thank you! I hope this place felt like home for you. 🤍

The studio WILL NOT BE CLOSING! Here’s the big announcement- God’s goodness is never ceasing. Haze Studio has been bought out! It will continue to operate once ownership changes on April 1. You can now book April 1 and beyond in the bio. Which brings me to the next big announcement. Who’s taking over? I am SO excited to announce that will be the new owner and operator of Haze Studio starting April 1!

I am so excited to see where God brings this studio & thank you for being a part of it! This is a bittersweet goodbye, but I hope to see many of you in the world of photography! 🫶 I will still be around through March and we’ll be running at least 2 more photography clubs, which will also be taking over once April launches.

Just like kids, you’re not supposed to have favorites. So instead, maybe I’ll say these are my most proud images from 2024. You might be able to sense a theme in my work. I hope so at least. Family connection is my deep passion. My prayer is that God uses my heart in this business. I love families. I am so excited to see what beautiful connections 2025 is going to bring. 🫶🤎 Thank you to each family who trusts me to capture them. Hey hi! I’m Kelsy the girl behind the camera! 📸 I’m so grateful to all of you who follow along in my work & my silly reels that largely are just for fun & have nothing to do with photography. 🙃I often feel like I’m just another voice/artist in the noise & you following me makes me feel so validated in this industry. So thank you, thank you for being in this space with me!

Some things about me! I have 4 kids who are equal parts wonderful & chaotic. My husband and I are high school sweethearts & love Jesus. Our life is an active pursuit of Him. Sometimes my own pride in my work can get in the way of how God is moving, so my goal this year is to get out of the way & let Him work.

In my work, I want to capture your family’s heart, not just their faces. Families are a big deal to me. I make it easy & comfortable, your kid’s throwing fits or being wild doesn’t phase me a bit. (Remember, I have 4) I’ll still think you’re an incredible mom.

In my personal life, I love reading books, playing games (Catan & Splendor are two favorites, also Dutch Blitz & Clue can never lose), drinking coffee & being with my family are my favorite things. I have a deep desire to build genuine relationships, but often have a hard time being vulnerable with others. I would much rather help you than ask for help myself. (I’m working on it.) 🤍
