Hello! I am so sorry I haven’t completely fallen off the face of the earth — I’ve just been BUSY, which I am so incredibly grateful for! Since surgery, I did fall a little behind, but I’m finally starting to get caught back up!

First up on the wedding train is Courtney & Sarah! They got married in Ravenna at the most beautiful old barn I have ever seen. PLUS… mini cows😭. The day was absolutely beautiful — a light sprinkle that morning followed by the most gorgeous sunny afternoon.

It was such a fun wedding filled with laughter, love, and so many sweet moments. What an honor it was to be a part of their day.

This is actually my third out-of-state wedding this year, and this one took me back to Illinois—but not Chicago this time!
Gabe and Tiffany were absolutely adorable. They met the old-fashioned way, started as friends, and somehow kept missing each other over the years until the timing was finally right and everything aligned just as it was meant to.
This was also my first engagement session with a baby, and it was so much fun! She did amazing and truly stole the show—she was the real star of the session!
I cannot wait to photograph their wedding and see their sweet baby girl all dressed up on the big day. 🤍

First, I want to sincerely thank everyone for the kind messages and for checking in on me. I truly appreciate it more than I can put into words, and I feel incredibly grateful for the support.

I am on the mend. I was discharged on Saturday, and my pain is very minimal at this point—mostly just some muscle cramps and spasms as I continue to recover.

A huge shoutout and heartfelt thank you to Allie Santoni and her wonderful daughter for stepping in and covering a wedding for me on Saturday. I am beyond grateful for you both.
Now… back to our regularly scheduled programming. 🤍

Hello everyone!
First, I want to say thank you so much to everyone who has checked in on me and for being so patient.
Secondly, I am still recovering, so it may take me a little longer to reply to emails. Texting me will likely be the best option for now.
Unfortunately, I had to undergo emergency surgery this morning to have my gallbladder removed due to an infection.
I am on the mend! Sadly, I haven’t been able to edit photos recently, as I was away at a photography conference this week before all of this happened, but please know I am doing my best to get caught up.
I’m hoping to be able to go home tomorrow morning and continue recovering there.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to text me. Response times may be up to 48 hours while I recover.

Shockingly enough, this was my first couple to ever request a sunset/golden hour session, and I could not be happier with how these turned out!

Max & Gabi could seriously be professional models because the way they take direction mixed with their chemistry together? UGH. It has me even more excited for their wedding this October!

Thank you both so much for trusting me with such a big season of your lives — and thank you for letting me put your ring in the sand because those photos absolutely did not disappoint. 😂

They chose Rosy Mound for their engagement session because it’s where they had their very first date, which made this session feel even more special. As always, Rosy Mound was beautiful, magical, and gave us the dreamiest sunset to end the night.

I think I may have been the only person who didn’t know there was a Chinatown in Chicago! When Elianna told me she wanted to do their engagement pictures at Ping Tom Memorial Park, I immediately said, “Wait… where is that?” Safe to say, I was in for a surprise because this place was SO cool. Between the city views, the pagoda, and all the little spots tucked throughout the park, it made the perfect backdrop for these two.

AJ and Elianna are getting married this August, and I honestly could not be more excited for their day! From the outfits, to the chemistry between them, to how easy they were to talk to, this session felt so natural from start to finish. It’s always such a good sign when a couple can make each other laugh nonstop and make my job easy at the same time.

Also, I really hope Elianna got to try the new restaurant that opened nearby! When Kasey and I walked past it, the wait was CRAZY, which usually means it has to be good. Chicago continues to surprise me every time I visit, and sessions like this make me even more excited for wedding season.

Chicago, baby! ✨ I have not one, but TWO weddings in Chicago this summer/fall, and I couldn’t be more excited!

Katie and Justin were the first couple to take a chance on me in the Windy City, and I’m so incredibly thankful. When I first started wedding photography a few years ago, shooting a wedding in Chicago was always a dream of mine—so this one felt extra special.

And can we talk about how CUTE these two are?! Katie was texting and emailing me ahead of time making sure I knew exactly where to go and where to park (truly a lifesaver), and I appreciated it more than she knows.

It also didn’t hurt that I had my personal driver for the day—shoutout to Kasey Brown 😄

Feeling so grateful for opportunities like this and the amazing people I get to meet along the way.

Wedding season officially kicked off for me on April 25th, and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful start. The venue was stunning, and this amazing couple is one I actually met at an expo—which makes it even more special!

Ronnie and Jennifer are the sweetest, and I feel so grateful I got to be part of their day. One of my favorite moments? Ronnie told Jennifer to keep her vows short… and she technically did—but turned them into a scroll that rolled all the way to the floor to make him think otherwise. It was such a fun and unforgettable moment!

The entire day was filled with so much love, laughter, and genuine joy.
