I’m Chelsea Whitaker, a freelance writer, photographer and creative director based in Grand Rapids, MI. I write and shoot for Local Spins and Trial & Error Collective, while acting as co-producer for Sounds of the Zoo. I specialize in photographing all aspects of the music industry, while honing my craft to focus on live music coverage, promotional photos and artist portraits. Although I love working with bands, I also love to work with other creatives and couples. As a big fan of travel and exploration, I love traveling for work. So far, I have photographed in California, Arizona, Ohio, Illinois, and Michigan. If you’ve got an idea, I can help you create it! I want you to feel comfortable in front of the camera, allowing your personality to shine through. Let’s create some magic together! ✨
