Watching My Dog Getting Older Is Hard 🥺💕
Watching your dogs get older is one of the hardest parts of loving them. Things that were once so easy for Tonka and Monroe are starting to require a little extra help.
We were sent this really cool ottoman that unfolds into stairs for older dogs, and it arrived at the perfect time. We recently got a new ball pit, but Tonka and Monroe were both having a hard time climbing in and out. We placed the stairs beside it, and they walked right up and got inside! Unfortunately, we quickly realized we need another set inside the ball pit so they can get back out. 🤣
It hurts my heart to see them struggle with things they used to do so easily. Thankfully, Tonka is feeling so much better and acting like a puppy again—and Monroe is acting like an irritated mom who has had enough of everyone’s nonsense. 😂
Whatever helps my babies continue playing, exploring, and enjoying life is worth it to me. Watching them grow older is hard, but every happy moment with them is a gift. ❤️🐺
