Thank you everyone for shoutouts on social media today. Verizon was down while taking photos in Gaines Bend this evening, so I came home to a lot of notifications. I'm grateful to have such amazing friends.

No matter how many times I go to Gaines Bend, I don't think I've ever come home and been disappointed with the photos. Can you imagine living in one of these houses and watching the Hells Gate Fireworks show?

Thunderstorm last night over Graford, but clear skies and the Milky Way over my house. Between the lightning and the stars, it was a spectacular show.

My friend Pedro X. Ramirez is dropping his first full album later this summer. On Saturday, he did a preview of the album at The Middleton Hotel. Let me tell you, if you want to hear some raw and real music, you're going to want to hear this album. He previewed a specific song about driving him from West Texas chasing his dreams that I think will relate to a lot of people. Definitely recommend going to his page and giving him a follow.
