JD Photography Photography started out as a hobby taking picture of landscapes, closeups etc. When I started trying Then I branched out with extended family and close friends.

My photography started out as a hobby taking picture of landscapes, macro flowers, animals, etc. When I started trying my hand on portraits of people, I used my siblings as my first subjects and Ohhh... the patience they had with me. But like everything else in life, it takes a lot of trial and error to perfect something. Lots of time and practice. Then life got busy and I hardly had the time to e

njoy my camera...moving away from home, nursing school, voluntary service, married life, parenthood, etc...and I never had the chance to really make something out of what I started. So that leads me to today...and now I plan to do more photography as a second little side job. At first, I felt like I had to start all over, but I'm feeling more comfortable with my camera again and ready to capture the your unforgettable stages of life and the memories to be had with family and friends.

We discovered while taking these pictures, that our little family is the farthest thing from the peaceful, picture perfect family that it may appear we may be...we experienced biting, screaming, belly laughs, and occasional stomping off in a huff... But that's ok, we still like being together and sharing a home with each other.
