Welcome to 2025!!!

I rarely toot my own horn. Fact of the matter is I get to do some really cool events and really cool work for some really cool people. I'm pretty bad at sharing the work that I do--terrible at posting to social media.
I want to pay all of my bills and travel the world. With that said, what I need is for you to hire me, to recommend me and leave me glowing reviews so that I can live my dreams. This year, I will do my best to share more of my work, give myself credit for what I do and grace for what I don't.

I will start this year off by sharing my work from the January 2025 issue of Charleston magazine, hot off the press.

Lemme tell you about this lady. I changed schools in the 7th grade. So did she. She was the first person to talk to me on the way to home room that first day. My circle is very small. This friendship though is one of those where we may chat every day one month and go 5 or 6 without chatting-picking up where we left off. EVERYONE needs a Wanda in their life. This is her with her horse, Cornbread.

Sometimes, I get to do the coolest nonprofit work. This year, I got to work with an AARP Wish of a Lifetime recipient Brenda. She wanted to know more about her family. AARP in conjunction with the International African American Museum in Charleston, SC did just that. I spent the morning with Brenda and her husband, Al, documenting her wish.
