Before you speak,
let your words pass through three gates:

Is it true?
Is it necessary?
Is it kind?

On my morning jog with my oldest daughter, a friend drove by and rolled down the window and drove along beside us for a minute. She was singing praises to my daughter about a recent volleyball game that she had watched her play. When she left, I found myself thinking... wow, she is always so nice and positive. She is always a breath of fresh air and kindness. How many people in our lives can we say that about? How many people can say that about you? Be the light in others lives. Be the sunshine on a dark day. You never know what someone else may be going through or how your kind words can help them. ☀️
