Guilty By Association explores the darkness of addiction - something I haven't addressed publicly until now. Depression, anxiety, overwhelming guilt, and shame are inseparable from it. The feeling of being a burden, of believing the people you love are better off without you.

Too often, people judge those who use or have used without understanding the suffering underneath. This project exists to challenge that. Addiction carries a weight that rarely gets spoken about openly, and the silence has a cost - I've lost more than one person to it, starting with my best friend in high school.

This is personal. I've been caught up in addiction myself. I know the darkness from the inside. Guilty By Association is my way of giving that darkness a name - for everyone who has lived it, is living it, or didn't survive it.

New art photography project/process in the works. "Guilty By Association" is about the darkness behind the mental angst and suffering of anxiety and depression.
