I'm hoping this holiday season has been full of love and joy for you and yours. I hope you enter into this New Year and New Decade full of hopeful dreams and the courage to chase them. With the birth of our son, 2019 has been the biggest year of our lives! We have faced challenges this year but have reveled in kiss attacks, warm and squishy cuddles, firsts, giggles, wonder and deeply contented happiness. I love these two something fierce.

I've ignored my business social media though I have been shooting some. While I'm so happy that I was able to stay home with my baby most of his first year, I did say yes to working with a handful of incredible photography clients in 2019, not pictured here. I photographed maternity, newborn, and family portraits. I photographed the deluxe Christmas party at the largest private residence in the state and worked with new and returning clients. The most rewarding moments were getting notes from my client mamas that they were crying happy tears while looking at their photographs, knowing they would be treasured for generations. In those moments, I truly love what I do. In 2020 I'm itching to document more unique families and beautiful connections in new and creative ways, with deeper understanding.

I got to photograph Cora's newborn portraits recently! It was fun to use fresh flower cuttings from their yard. I've photographed a lot of love unfolding through the years in this sweet little family. Morgan + Zach, Cora is one lucky lady to have you as her parents.

An amazing new photographer has joined our team! Our son came into the world weighing over 10lbs and full of an incredible strength. He is the light of our lives! I’m feeling so thankful for so many things. I’m thankful to have a career and business that keeps me challenged and inspired and for clients with hearts of gold. 🍁
I’m thankful for sweet friends to laugh and cry with. I’m thankful for an incredible immediate and extended family always full of love and support. I’m thankful for a rockin’ husband who would move mountains for me. Unlike much of the world’s population, we have healthy food and cozy shelter and everything we really need and I never want to lose sight of that.

This year, we are more thankful than ever as we prepare to meet our son and I slowly waddle through the last bits of pregnancy. This new life is a miracle and answered prayers and I can’t wait to hold our little pumpkin.

We will be adding a tiny photographer to our team soon! 📷 I can’t believe I’m already in the 3rd trimester and that this miracle is happening. Paul and I are so thrilled & excited & grateful & honored to become parents - its been a long journey for us.

At the Ashland Springs Hotel we hosted our first Wedding Tasting. The evening consisted of meeting our Wedding Team and tasting a selection of our menu items. Our guests were able to ask our team many questions about their wedding day. It was a delightful evening and could not have been possible ....

Paul & I will be there in early June before traveling to Bulgaria (where we already have some amazing models) and we are super ridiculously excited and fortunate to have this opportunity. We try to prioritize travel when we can, unique experiences together have always been of value to us. We are ready for this next international adventure!
