As a kid, I remember attending the folk festival, having a Lions Club hotdog (the hot chili that Oral Cunningham used to make was delicious), we’d listen to jam sessions and watch the square dancers.
This is the 3rd year that we will be in the old Little Kanawha Valley Bank on Howard Street taking pictures (the light blue building), which is on the historic register list!
We have old-time photos set up in there, western shirts, saloon girl costumes,hats, prop guns, bandannas, old time money bags, and more as props! (5-9 pm on Friday) and (Saturday 12-2pm and 5-9pm)!
Keepsake photos are offered this year with a special design for the 2026 festival, or opt for photos in color!!! Only $10!
