A typical shy toddler session, usually always, starts out with a reluctant and uncomfortable greeting. I have many years of experience working with the little ones and so, there are no 'mini sessions' in my studio. I give children plenty of time to relax and play within the set before I even pick up my camera. The longer session times (and lots of patience) produce keepsake photos of your child's natural personality and genuine laughter.
We don't say 'cheeeeeeze', we tell each other funny stories and sing silly songs. 😃

I'm trying my hand at creating photos with the look of the era. I have a love for tintype photos. Tintype photography was popular during the civil war. I've seen some original tintype photos, and I appreciate the dearness of them. They are commonly placed in tiny little locket-style ornate frames, made of copper and leather, that would fit in a pocket close to your heart. I'm so honored to have had the opportunity of such talented real-life civil war reenactors to stop by my studio for me to practice my art.
I have lots more photos to sort through. These are just a few samples.
