I had the best time capturing this branding session for Kaylee, Shades of Kay 💇🏻‍♀️✨
There’s something about photographing people doing what they love that makes my job so much fun. We just went with the flow and had plenty of laughs. The little candid moments ended up being some of my favorites, and I love how these photos tell a little more of her story and what she’s passionate about the most. Some sessions just come together so effortlessly. 🥹 especially if it involves a pretty dress, a beautiful sunset, a lovely model and a little golden hour magic. I’ll never get tired of creating portraits like these. I also love when clients bring along something that means a little extra to them. Whether it’s a special truck, a favorite piece of jewelry, or something else that tells a part of their story. Those little details always make a session feel that much more personal and sentimental. 🤍

Hi friends! 💞
I figured it was time for another little introduction because this community has grown so much, and some things have changed since my first "get to know me" post.
If you're new here, welcome! I'm so thankful you're here. And if you've been following along for a while, thank you for supporting this dream of mine.
I'm 23 years old, and somewhere along the way I decided to take a chance on something I truly love, photography. What started as a passion has grown into such a rewarding journey, and I'm so grateful for every person who's been a part of it.
Something many people don't know about me is that photography is also my full time job. I'm coming up on one year as a travel school photographer, and it's been one of the greatest learning experiences. I've had the opportunity to travel to places I never expected, meet so many incredible people, and photograph students of all ages.
Every day looks a little different, but one thing stays the same.. I'm constantly learning. Photographing hundreds of students each day has taught me patience, attention to detail, how to work efficiently, and most importantly, how to help people feel comfortable in front of the camera. Those experiences have shaped me not only as a photographer but as a person, and I'm incredibly thankful for them.
When the workday is over, you'll usually find me doing... more photography. 🤍
Growing my own business has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my life because it allows me to slow down and create something completely different. I love getting to know my clients, hearing their stories, and creating images that feel authentic to who they are. Watching someone become more confident throughout a session is one of my favorite parts of what I do.
Lately, I've found myself dreaming even bigger. I want to create more artistic sessions, build more unique sets, and bring ideas to life that are a little outside the box. I have several creative projects I'm working on behind the scenes, and I honestly can't wait to share them with you.
One thing this journey has taught me is that there is always something new to learn. I hope I never stop growing, because every session, every client, and every experience has made me a better photographer than I was yesterday.
To everyone who's booked a session, shared my work, recommended my page, or simply followed along, thank you. Your support has made this dream possible, and I'll never take that for granted.
