I am a mother to 2 precious young adults, and a wife of 24 years… And I wouldn’t change any of this for the world! I have always loved the art of photography and design, I started out in photography in high school in the late 80’s and then got deeper as my kids were born and growing up. I was a clicking camera mom with my first SLR, a Pentax ME Super a camera that I was gifted by a dear friend and
boss for Christmas in 1990 and wherever my babies were I was right there with them, with a camera of course! Today my equipment and expectations of photography are much higher than just being a clicking camera mom. So, in early 2012 I committed myself to obtaining my CPP. What is CPP you say? This is a certification awarded by the Professional Photographic Certification Committee which is issued to only the top professionals that meets or exceed the extreme and rigorous written test and image submission. All aspects of Art and Designing run deep in the family roots. God has blessed me with these talents and I don’t intend on wasting his gift! In 2009 I graduated with my Bachelors in Fine Art (Summa Sum Laude) in Digital Design. I love to design websites, logos and signage and I adore reaching out to others and designing or capturing and freezing priceless moments in their lives as well as my own! Photography is definitely art to me and I love every second of what I do! My photographic style is a mix of traditional and modern in my eyes– I love using modest splashes and layers of color in the backgrounds I choose combined in what I recommend you wear enhance you and will not distract from the beauty you bring before my lens. My style of posing is comfortable and complimentary for you and this is what I strive for. During any event I love capturing the true expressions of photos in that moment of time, as well as some preplanned poses! I have a passion for weddings, families, newborns and children of various ages and I try to capture the most natural expressions and poses with people by just letting them have fun and explore their surroundings. I feel that this style works best especially with small children which I have had a lot of experience photographing over the last 25 years. I spend a lot of time getting the image correct straight from the camera so they have are the highest potential possible for you, and is part of the training I have received. I am willing to travel throughout the Carolinas and love exploring new places.
