I wanted to hop on here and give everyone a few updates as we head into the one of the busiest seasons of the year! Please read through if youโre planning to book a session this summer or still need to reschedule from last year. ๐ค

Most outdoor sessions are scheduled during Golden Hour, about an hour before sunset. This is hands down my favorite lighting for photos and gives that creamy, glowy look I love so much.
I completely understand this timing can be tricky with younger kids though! I am absolutely open to discussing different times of day during booking if needed. Any in-studio sessions also have the flexibility of being scheduled anytime during the day.

Just a little scheduling transparency as we head into summer. Life is already incredibly busy over here balancing photography, a full-time day job, and being a mom to 2 kids involved in sports and other activities. Most weekends are already filled with weddings, booked sessions, fishing tournaments, family commitments, and everything else that comes with juggling a busy household.
As we move into summer and all of the kidsโ schedules continue falling into place, I truly appreciate everyoneโs patience and flexibility. My kids and their schedules will always come first, but I am still doing my absolute best to accommodate everyone and fit sessions in wherever I can! However, there is a chance a few sessions may need to be adjusted or rescheduled as summer schedules continue to fall into place. Please keep an eye on your emails just in case yours is one of them!

Weekend availability is almost completely booked now through October due to weddings, fishing tournaments, and family schedules. Please know before booking that your session may need to happen on a weekday evening instead of a weekend.

I travel to Bismarck/Minot multiple times a week for sessions, which Iโm totally okay with doing! However, gas prices have gotten a little wild lately and Iโve been extremely lax on charging travel fees. Starting today through the end of summer, all future sessions requiring travel will include a $20 minimum travel fee.

For anyone who still has a reschedule from last Fall Minis, I have emailed available reschedule dates, but I am still waiting to hear back from a few people.
All reschedules are honored for one year and I absolutely do my best to fit everyone in, but if I do not hear back, I will need to move on to the next client. Please check your emails! The remaining dates will be opened to the general public later this week.
