This past Tuesday the Stormers faced the York Revolution on Love Lancaster Day. Michael Snyder hit a solo shot in the 6th, while Richie Dell and Kaleb Sophy threw three scoreless innings allowing only one hit.

In this series of By the Numbers, I chose Nathan Martorella and Matt Swarmer. They both helped the Stormers close out the series in Long Island Sunday with a win. Swarmer was one out from a complete game, and Martorella had 2 RBIs.

Saturday was Swiftie Night at the ballpark. The Stormers faced off against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. Tristin English began his Stormers career going 3-4 with a homer. The Stormers are on the road this week and will return on July 21 for Love Lancaster night against the Revs.

This By the Numbers spotlight is Stormers Pitcher Jason Bollman. Jason went 8.2 innings allowing 2 earned runs and striking out 8 in the win against Gastonia last Saturday. Jason's performance earned him the first player spotlight in the series.

Last Saturday the Stomers erupted for 12 runs in the 1st inning. Joseph Carpenter ( ) hit his 50th home run as a Stormer (Grand Slam), and Jason Bollman ( ) went recorded the Quality Start going 8.2 innings, striking out 8, and allowing 2 earned runs in the win vs the Gastonia Ghost Peppers. The Stormers return home Tuesday vs Southern Maryland. Be sure to come out and cheer on the Stormers.
