rings resting among wildflowers. a dress suspended beneath the trees. handwritten promises. ribbons tied to the getaway car. an open field, a white tent, and the mountains watching from beyond it all.

the July air was heavy enough to wear, but the falls were cold; sacred dark water moving over stone while Amber stepped in carrying a new life beneath her heart. flowers tangled through her hair as her dress moved with the current; Matt stayed close, and Rhett reached for his mother’s face as if he already understood that everything was about to change.

this did not feel like a maternity session.

it felt like a baptism into the next version of their family. a mother held by the river, surrounded by the lives she had already built, waiting for one more soul to arrive.
