The ; capable of producing a print that looks better than your phone’s screen (when you figure it all out). A couple more from Trista Thomas and I on our - if anyone knows the names on the (full) domes in the second picture, please educate me. For now I’ll just refer to them as ‘Tetons.’

The first three are my best prints on and probably of all my prints. gets expensive. You gotta get a photo right, then you gotta get it right on paper which considerably different than a screen. Test print after test print on paper that costs around $5-10 a sheet for 17x22” but, the paper feels like crisp new dollar bills.. like, exactly like dollar bills… so that’s cool 😎

Next time passing through here, it HAS to be morning. The clouds were my saving grace for not ending up with just river, snow, and a few aspens and everything else is just black.

So… I finally got this whole ICC profile jazz figured out, for paper that costs more than I care to admit, by a company that’s been in business more than 200 years longer than the United States has even been a country, and not to mention the test prints I’ve made that didn’t turn out… but.. we are there now 😅but for non fancy prints, I can crank those out all day. More and shots of the Rhyolite ruins and a forgotten roll from the July 4 weekend in Ely/Nevada Northern Railroad. After some experimentation, I’ve gathered I’m not really a fan of expired film. Some people love it and prefer it, but I don’t like my photos looking like they’re suffering from measles 😂 It’s just not for me. Same goes for the light leak look… it means there’s a problem with the camera. Some people absolutely love light leaks. Also not for me. The railroad pictures were on expired film and you can see the measles spots in the sky. There’s a few redscale medium format scans in here.. also not for me. It took crazy negative color corrections and film already looks enough, I don’t need to make it look super vintage.. but that’s just me. Does make cool psychedelic album art though, so if you want an album cover picture, I’ll buy another roll.
