Up next is film. Not sure about the uneven exposures in some of them. I replaced the battery in the camera just to be sure as this was the last roll to go through it. More shooting tomorrow with cinestill but you see the colors aren’t as warm on this stock. Also, people, f**k off with the trash dumping. You can save gas just by finding a dumpster in a parking lot if you absolutely have to.. there’s also bulk pickup every other weekend here.. I don’t get it.

AI seemed to always know the film stock I was using and added the borders and of course the ghostly faded double exposure subjects. The picture is real but the motion picture isn’t. Then added a fake band using the Joshua tree in the actual photo…….. We’re just in a simulation now 😂

CineStill Film 400 is officially my favorite color film stock. This is a whole roll shot with the on a 55mm f4 and a +8 stop circular polarizer. Every exposure was shutter priority at 1 second and f22 on the lens. The polarizer was adjusted to give a hair above balanced exposure on the light meter and thus we got these rich blue skies. This is the first of 6 rolls of and the next comes tomorrow (maybe). Alien Film Lab B&C Camera

Absolutely love this custom work by MATBOARD & MORE ! I think it’s funny how 17x22” is a common print size, but not a common frame size, so matboard and more fills that void. With Hahnemühle FineArt this piece is gallery-ready!

Joshua tree portraits > people portraits. They never stop posing and you don’t have to talk to them. Also the trash in this area is getting BAD.

Some more film stock experiments. The first two are exposed correctly, number 3 is severely under exposed. The is AFX400 which I think might be my favorite black and white film. The next two are 800t on 120. And I think is my favorite color film. The last is Phoenix again but scanned under a different negative conversion and the result is an old vinyl album cover from the 70’s 😂 I like it though.
