Sneak peak of something new… I’m curious, what vibes/thoughts does this evokes in you?

I have an idea of what I hope the end result might be, but I’m taking a completely experimental path to get there. Too much of life is scripted; bounded; pre-determined; rigid… I love the act of making. I don’t do it enough anymore!

I love watching people build something special from their ideas and passion. I was hoping to try something tasty today, but word on the street, they sold out in the first hour!! 🎉

I’ve been meaning to post about this amazing rescue and the mural I painted for them since October! … I have so much fun footage of the process surrounded by oodles and oodles of the cutest, sweetest and silliest kitties that i will eventually share! But for now, I want to acknowledge how grateful I was for the opportunity to paint this for Friends of Felines And Ferals. I loved every minute of it.

Having zero familiarity with their organization prior to the mural, I must tell you- I was blown away by so many things- the heart and dedication of everyone I met; the cleanliness of the rescue from litter boxes to water bowls; the high quality of life and care your kitties enjoy, and last but not least- the amazing cats that made the hours and hours of painting sooo fun! (And meaningful)

Thank you for what you all do. I know it is anything but easy. You’re making the world a better place for felines and humans alike.

This right here was basically our #1 Top Favorite Moment in 2025...❤️❤️
So thankful to the anonymous donor & for Jenna B. Linhart Art & Photography. She did an amazing job❤️ We are so lucky to be able to have the space to remember those we have lost & can show who we continue to do this for... for all that we've lost we stay strong for them - for the next one that needs us

Eco-creative tip: thrift & secondhand shops are filled with art, craft & creative supplies!!! I try to source as many of my supplies secondhand as possible because👇

Buying secondhand:
💰 saves you money, often lots of it
🌎 reduces demand for “new” items = less resource
extraction & pollution
🚮 reduces good, usable items going into landfills
🛍️ scratches the “shopping itch” in an earth/ wallet
friendly way
AND
💡I believe it promotes CREATIVITY… “what can I do with this?”, “I could put this and this together..”, “I thought I wanted red, but this green makes me think of a way to do it a little bit differently..!”
