The December exhibit at Spectrum Gallery is a member show featuring Downtown Fresno. I have 3 images in the main gallery and another one in Members Rotating Gallery. All of these are skyline images. They are unique in that none of them could be taken again.

I will be at the gallery during the first part of Art Hop this Thursday, December 5th. Stop by to view this collection. You might also find a Christmas present for that person on your list who is hard to shop for.

My exhibit opens this Thursday. So, it is time to hang the show. This is always great fun because the exhibit takes on a whole new dimention when it is displayed.

I hope I see you at ArtHop Thursday. Art Hop is from 5 - 8 pm but I will be there earlier if you want to stop by before that. On Thursday the Gallery opens at 12:30 pm. If I am not there yet, one of my fellow artists will be there to greet you. For our added pleasure David Aus duo will be providing jazz music.

In addition to Thursdays opening reception, the show continues through July 1,

Forty members of Spectrum Gallery donated a print each. Forty art lovers will each take one of these home.

The annual Print Drawing is on Saturday, June 2nd, with viewing and Refreshments at 6 p.m. and the Drawing begins promptly at 7 pm.
Here is how it works. There are 40 prints and 40 tickets. A perfect match up. Tickets will be randomly drawn to determine who will have first choice from all the indicated, donated prints on display in the Rotating Members' Space. The first number drawn will get first choice, second number to be drawn will be the next, and so on and so forth until the last number to be drawn will receive the final print.
Everyone who purchases a ticket will have an equal chance to win and all ticket holders will walk out with a print worth more than the price of a ticket. This is where the Terrific Bargain comes in: The tickets are priced at $75.00. Many of the prints are worth four to five times the price of the ticket. My contribution is "Tide Pool, Montano de Oro"

The images are all matted and framed. Now I need to figure out how I am going to arrange them in the gallery.

Today is one month from the opening of my show at Spectrum Art Gallery. My last images are with Rich to be printed. Carol and I have a good portion matted and framed.

For some reason the glass for the frames always get dirty, Carol did a great job of cleaning this and we have no glass cuts.

I have also started putting notices in the community calendars on the internet.

I have completed archival backups of about 3,000 images. These were archive from CDs and DVDs to a 2 Terabyte external hard drive. A few a the files on the CD/DVDs were no longer readable so it was a good time to do that rearchiving.
