WE NEED YOUR HELP!!
We are looking for someone to check our phone messages three times a day on Saturday and Sunday ( or to have two people with one weekend day each).
Our supervisor will train you on how to return calls and give information to callers.
This can all be done remotely from your own home and could take about an hour in total.

Please call us if you're interested :) 510-792-4587

I had the privilege to watch this green heron be released back into the wild by / yesterday and it was a pretty phenomenal experience.i saw this green heron the day it was admitted to the center. He had a hurt wing and was very underweight. Under the amazing care, this guy made a quick recovery and we brought him back out to the wild as quickly as we could. And as soon as this green heron found a safe spot he puffed up in glee. However. When you go back to an animals home and can’t find a spot that doesn’t have trash and plastic in the water it’s a pretty huge downer. Swipe to see a small section we passed. As a few of us walked down the edge of the marsh I jokingly said “let’s find a nicer spot to let you go” without thinking. How unfair is it for these animals to be so heavily affected by our careless mistakes? How disgusting would it have to be to live in another persons filth without having any control over it? I honestly could not believe my eyes when I saw all of the trash in the water.

I’d like to set up a creek cleaning in the near future. Would anyone be interested in joining me? Maybe a few weekends from now? Let me know!

A new blog post?! Check it out ya'll!

Its been almost 2 years since I’ve blogged and it feels very odd to even attempt to do this again. Even now I’m truly at a loss for words. One thing I do know, however, is I miss sharing my life with people. I miss sharing my photos and experiences online. 2017 and 2018 were a whirlwind and it h...
