October is officially FULL! 📸

With 13 sessions left to photograph this month and a minimum of 280 images to edit after the fact, I’m officially closing my October books and won’t be scheduling any additional sessions this month!

My heart about jumped out of my chest when this sweet family reached out again this year. 🤍 And there’s nothing quite like watching a little one open that car door, see you, and smile because they recognize you. 🥹

So grateful to watch this family grow and capture another chapter. And okay, I know this is a bit of an overshare compared to my normal session sneak peaks… but it was PAINFUL picking just a few favorites. 😭📸🤍

Sometimes, a photo session isn’t about a milestone or a special occasion. Sometimes, it’s simply because you’re finally giving something back to yourself. 🤍

And that’s exactly what this session was.

After hearing a little about this couple’s journey together—building their life as a blended family, choosing to start their journey in a quiet way so they could save, focus on their home, and pour into the life they’re living right now—I couldn’t help but feel like they truly deserved this evening.

They deserved to slow down. To celebrate each other. To have some time that was just about them.

And I can only hope these photos show them even a little bit of what I saw standing behind my camera: just how absolutely perfect they are for each other.

Because there’s something I swear I’ve learned through photography… there really is a spark in someone’s eyes when they look at the person they love. You can pose a couple, you can guide them, you can capture the pretty moments—but you can’t fake that.

And these two? They have it. ✨
