This morning I had the distinct pleasure of photographing an engagement session for my future sister-in-law Avelina and her fiance Sean! It may have been a VERY early shoot, but these two were nothing but smiles and laughs throughout the whole session☀️🌅😍

These two are two of my favorite people and I am so honored that they asked me to photograph their engagement 🎉💍❤️

Cheers to the happy couple 🍾🥂 I hope the rest of your engagement (and life together) is full of all the joy, excitement, and laughs that you shared this morning and I cannot wait to celebrate you both at your wedding in February 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️

I have been staying at my future sister-in-law's new house for the past week as I complete a 4 week externship with Brookfield Zoo ( ) and she has an incredibly gorgeous peony bush in her back yard -- I was so inspired that I grabbed a few quick photos of her and my engagement rings 📸💍

I just couldn't help myself and they fit so perfectly in the bouquet ✨🌸

My final graduation session of the season was on Graduation Day (Saturday) with this incredible veterinarian, Leslie, her dogs Max, Romeo, Canny, and Coco, along with her parents Eva and Juan, her husband Matthew, and her mother-in-law Amy! 📸🐾

Leslie had an amazing entourage with her, which is perfect for celebrating such a momentous achievement! The weather tried to turn on us (we were lucky that it didn't) but nothing could have rained on Leslie's parade as she celebrated graduating from veterinary school! 👏🎓

🎉Congratulations on earning your D.V.M Leslie! Your cheerful personality, determination, and intellect will make you an excellent veterinarian; the day may have been cloudy, but your future is ✨bright✨🎉

As a little break from the graduation pandemonium, I managed to sneak in a little engagement shoot for one of my favorite couples, Angela and Joe! 💍🥂

These Illini Alumni were all smiles, giggles, and fun today as we walked around campus to relive the romance from their undergrad years and celebrate the amazing journey they have shared together 🎉 This Illini love story is a classic and I am so excited to help them tell it!

Angela and Joe, thank you so much for asking me to capture some campus Engagement Photos with you. You both looked absolutely amazing and I am so excited to see you say "I Do" this fall! 🍾👰🤵

Weekend 3 of graduation photo sessions began and ended with these two lovely ladies, Emma and Megan! 🎓📸

The weather was originally forecast to be cloudy all day today, but we were lucky enough that the sun decided to stay out during the entirety of the shoot. Even though the day was bright and warm, nothing could compare to the big smiles and amazing futures of these soon-to-be veterinarians! 🐾☀️

🎉Emma and Megan, I am so glad that you asked me to help you celebrate your graduation and I honestly cannot believe that you are less than 1 week away from finishing vet school! You are both amazing women and I cannot wait to see all of the incredible things you will accomplish in your careers. Don't forget to pop the champagne and celebrate your many accomplishments! Congratulations to you both on your upcoming graduation🍾🎉

To wrap up my second weekend of graduation photo sessions, I was lucky enough to photograph another group of familiar faces on Sunday: Tina and her gorgeous dogs Kane and Kahlo! 📸🎓🐾

Tina was featured on my page earlier in the school year for her white coat photos and I was so excited when she asked me to take her graduation portraits as well! The weather was less than ideal during her session 🌧 but even though we got rained out and had to finish the second half of her session on Monday, Tina never stopped smiling 👏 Both Tina and the dogs were absolute champions and powered through the gross weather and a 2-day photo session 🏆💪

🎉Tina, you have been an amazing support system and colleague to me over the past few years and I am going to miss you terribly, but I am also ridiculously excited to see all of the amazing things you'll do in the veterinary world. Congratulations on on everything you have accomplished and on your upcoming graduation!🎉🍾

Sunday was another double-feature day for graduation sessions 🎥🎞 and I kicked off the matinee show with The Fab 5: Jessie, Molly, Sam, Laura, and Erin, along with their families and significant others! 🎓

While they weren't tearing it up on the basketball court like the original Fab 5 (🏀 Go Blue), this group was an absolute joy to work with and were superstars in front of the camera! Big groups can sometimes be difficult to coordinate and pose -- I'm pretty sure we were laughing the whole time, and I have a treasure-trove of both posed and candid photos to choose from 📸.

🎉 Congratulations on your upcoming graduation Sam, Molly, Erin, Laura, and Jessie! Time to pop the champagne and celebrate ladies, you've definitely earned it! 🎉🍾🥂
