🎬 BMP Decision Desk Update 🎬
Today has been a very productive day!
On the production side, I redesigned the TCG corridor to better fit the green screen, created a 4K version of the corridor interface for the main monitor, mowed the front bank in preparation for filming, and finally... after months of procrastination... cut the Klik-Tar (KT) mask in half below the nose.
I also pressure washed part of the front deck. Not exactly film production, but it was a lot of work and felt good to finally make a dent. It's a big deck... "YUGE"
The original KT mask looked more impressive as a complete piece, but practical filmmaking sometimes requires practical decisions.
To become the Klik-Tar involves a balaclava, the KT mask itself, mesh, a face-mask hood, the cloak hood, gloves, jacket, and tactical vest. That's manageable if all you're doing is acting.
The challenge is that independent filmmaking often means acting, directing, lighting, framing, monitoring audio, managing continuity, and coordinating choreography—all on the same day.
The modified mask may be a slight downgrade visually, but it will allow me to breathe, stay cooler in the June heat, and remove it quickly if necessary. Most importantly, it should help keep the production moving.
My colleague and fellow cast member, Captain Pat, will be juggling many of these same responsibilities as we alternate between acting and crew duties throughout the shoot.
If the weather cooperates, production starts Saturday morning.

Rob... I'll be sending you a "ping" tomorrow... "One Ping Only". Great party btw, thanks for the wings! 👊
