As we come up on the day of Ozzy Osbourne’s passing, I want to reflect on my brief interactions I had with the man…

I was in the Chicago record store business back in the 80’s and had the opportunity to get close with in store appearances, and good seats to most of the shows.

I even remember winning a runner up window display for the Ozzy tribute album and getting the chance to speak directly with Ozzy for a few minutes on the phone.. wow.

I met him briefly at an in store in Indianapolis on the insane Ozzys Waysted Crue tour..that’s the photo pictured here.

The other two photos shown were from the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago in 81 and the other is from Chicago 88-89? w. Zakk…I believe.

I also had the pleasure to meet and shake Jack Osbourne’s hand way back when he was 5 or so… no selfie cameras back then.. kinda nice that way. I was glad to see all the adventures Jack and his dad did with the shows across the country… it made me very happy to see the father son connection…Mac Sabbath still makes me laugh…
