An old barn is situated in the midst of outstanding rural landscape graced with green pastures and towering mountains on the north side of the Wallowa Range in isolated northeastern Oregon. Chief Joseph Mountain (elev. 9616 ft.) commandingly rises a vertical mile above the tilted plains. East Peak (elev. 9,288 ft.) appears at left. Very interestingly, the north flank of the Wallowa Mountains is at the extreme southeast end of the Olympic–Wallowa lineament which is coincident with a major fault line in downtown Seattle. This lineament extends across the northern edge of the Olympic Mountains very near Port Angeles, Washington.

The Gibbon River calmy flows through an idyllic green meadow next to National Park Mountain at left (elev. 7549 ft.). Madison Junction, where this photo was captured, is in the northwest quadrant of Yellowstone N.P. A quarter mile downstream of this location, the Gibbon River joins the Firehole River to create the Madison River. The Madison River is one of three tributaries that flow together further downstream to form the Missouri River near Three Forks, Montana.

In Autumn, the Creator induces these Bigtooth Maple trees to produce a display of spectacular colors to remind mankind of His awesomeness and attention to detail. Romans 1:20 says, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse."
