There was a time I used to chase views like this just to prove I could reach them.
Overlook Park in White Rock. Sunsets spilling over Santa Fe. Standing in White Sands, New Mexico half convinced the earth wasn’t supposed to look that unreal. Those weren’t just pretty places. They were the kind of dreams that lived louder than words.
That younger version of me in the photo… she dreamed of being a photographer. She didn’t fully know how it would happen, she just knew she wanted to see the world differently and somehow show other people what she saw.
She wanted to stand in places where life felt bigger than everything she was carrying. She wanted to take photos that made people feel something in their chest before they even knew why.
And now here I am.
Still chasing that feeling, just not alone in it anymore. I get to turn it into shared moments, real love stories, real people, real memories.
In August, I’m heading to Salem, Massachusetts for engagement sessions wrapped in that moody, historic kind of magic.
Then September takes me to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Mountains, mist, and two people in love standing right where the sky feels close enough to touch.
Same heart. Same purpose. Bigger maps.
That girl didn’t just dream it. She built it.
If you’re going to dream, don’t do it small. I’ll meet you there with a camera.
