I've had a camera in my heart longer than I've had one in my hands. 📷
As a kid, I was already drawn to capturing the world around me — sneaking shots of nature, noticing light in ways I couldn't quite explain yet.
That curiosity eventually led me to assist in a high school photography class, then to shooting yearbook photos and group portraits for Lifetouch. I was doing what I loved — but for someone else's vision.
Then COVID hit. Lifetouch had to let everyone go temporally. And for the first time, I had nothing to hide behind.
My family saw the potential I couldn't see in myself yet. They pushed me to stop waiting and start building. So on my birthday, March 19th, 2021, I took the leap. I formed Life in Focus LLC and bet on myself.
Everything since then has been self-taught, self-built, and completely mine. 🤍
And what keeps me coming back behind the lens every single time?
It's the moments that only last a second but deserve to last forever. The unscripted, unposed, real ones. The ones you don't even notice are happening until you see them in a photo and your heart stops.
That's what I'm here to capture. 🤍
The photos in this post aren't from a client session. They're mine — taken when I was a younger, before I ever thought photography could become a career. Just a teen with a camera and a lot of feelings about light. 🌿
