Today marks 5 years of Chad on a Bench.

Here’s a never-before-seen photo of the moment it all began — October 8, 2020, at 3:29 PM, at Cedars of Lebanon State Park. That day, Chad sat on his very first bench, not knowing that one simple act would grow into such a meaningful movement.

Happy 5-Year Anniversary, Chad. Here’s to many more benches — and many more moments of peace, reflection, and connection.
