Tis the season

Graduation is upon us

This Graduation Session is special for many reasons; I've seen her journey since day one.

The level of perseverance, dedication, and strength she has shown on her journey has been an honor to watch.
It has given me moments where I sat in awe. As I sit here and look back at her journey I don't know how many times I have told her I was proud of her. At times I wondered if she may have felt the more voiced how proud I was, the less it resonated or the less it meant. The intention of that was the opposite.
Each time I said it with more vigor, and emphasizing what an amazing example she has set for those around her.
For my son, her nephew. For me, her big sister...
So many are proud.

I hope you take a moment to slow down and take it all in and realize how momentous this moment is. I cannot wait to stand proud at your graduation next weekend, Emma Marie.

The journey never ends, but this is an amazing milestone to reach

Time for an outfit change and a little change of scenery on the Lavender Farm. This location we shot at that day was a little outside of Baraboo, I had never been there, but it was definitely on my list of go-to's! 📍

I love hearing about the plans that each senior has for either college or life in general after finishing highschool
Hearing her plans specifically and how driven she has been I cannot wait to see her journey after she graduates

Just a few more shots of the beautiful couple 🥹😍

One thing I feel is vital when asked to shoot in an outdoor location is to scope the area

This area was tucked away behind the condos and easily could have been missed if time wasn't taken before shooting to scope the area

However, the scenery it provided gave the little touch the pictures needed

The love between these two is as beautiful as the sunset making it's appearance behind them.

What a full circle moment. The Bride, years back, I had done her Senior Pictures and what a compliment for her to message me stating she remembered how comfortable I had made her feel behind the camera. Also expressing how awesome it would be if I would be available for another session with her.

A quick after ceremony session to capture the day and an unforgettable moment. Who could say no?

These little full circle moments like this are why I love what I do.
