The Jacobite Train crossing the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct near Fort William, Scotland.

On a previous trip, I missed the opportunity to capture this scene, so this time I made sure I was in place nearly an hour before the train passed. What you don’t see is the crowd of travelers and photographers gathered on both sides and behind me, all waiting for that perfect moment.

Scotland has always offered incredible landscapes and unforgettable views, and this image remains one of my favorite captures from that journey.

Now that we have reached the off-season and hockey & lacrosse are at rest, I’ve added some image to my gallery. These are two just added to my b&w gallery. Up early on a Spring morning to catch the first glimpses of the day. On this day my friend Tom Collins and I captured these two images in Valle Crucis, NC.

We were looking to have fog filtering the rising sun. We got fog of course, had to wait 30-45 minutes to see the building. It without saying, this was before I found out about dew points and relative temps, etc.
