Friends, moms, marketing geniuses, and people who somehow manage to get referrals without sacrificing a goat to the Facebook algorithm…
I need your wisdom.
As many of you know, I own a yard greeting business (the giant birthday signs that make your neighbors wonder if they forgot someone’s birthday). Business is growing, and I’d love to expand my reach, but I’m trying to figure out the smartest way to do it.
So tell me your honest opinion:
• Do businesses grow more from posting constantly?
• Do discounts actually motivate people?
• Do little freebies work?
• Are referral programs worth it?
• Should I find one amazing partner who can reach a huge audience?
• Or several local “promoters” who love sharing businesses and earn discounts or free signs when they refer people?
Basically, if you were me, how would you get more eyeballs on a local business without standing on the corner waving a giant inflatable tube man?
I’d love to hear what’s worked for you, whether you’re a business owner or just someone who sees businesses do this well.
And if you’re the type of person who loves supporting local businesses, knows everyone, talks to everyone, and could see yourself being a referral partner/promoter in exchange for discounts, free signs, or other fun perks, send me a message! I’d love to chat.
Thanks for helping me solve my latest “How do I reach more people without becoming an interpretive dance marketing influencer?” problem.
