🌈 Today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day—a day to honor the beloved pets who left paw prints on our hearts and changed our lives forever.

Golden Paws Photography was born from the love and loss of my sweet Remie. His golden paws may no longer walk beside me, but they continue to guide me in everything I do. He is the reason I understand how precious photographs become—and why I feel so deeply honored to capture the love between people and their pets.

Because I know how meaningful these memories are, I offer Legacy Sessions for senior and medically fragile pets in exchange for a donation to NJSH Pet Rescue. It’s my way of helping families preserve their pet’s story while also helping another animal find the love and safety they deserve.

Today, I’m remembering Remie and every cherished companion waiting for us across the Rainbow Bridge. If you feel comfortable, share the name or a favorite photo of the pet you’re remembering today. I would love to honor them with you. 🌈🐾

Today would have been Remie’s Gotcha Day. 🤍

For anyone who doesn’t know the story behind the name Golden Paws… this is Remie.

He was my heart dog, my family, and the sweetest golden boy. He shared his life with kids, dogs and cats. He destroyed toys, stolen spots on the bed, enjoyed lazy afternoons and all of the wonderfully ordinary moments that somehow become the ones you miss the most.

After losing him, those ordinary photographs suddenly became anything but ordinary.

They became priceless.

I could look at them and remember the way he rested his head on me. His expressions. His goofy moments. The places he always slept. The animals and people he loved. What it felt like to have him here.

And that is a huge part of why Golden Paws Photography exists.

Because someday, a photograph stops being just a photograph. It becomes a little piece of a life you loved more than you knew was possible.

So when I photograph your dogs, I’m always looking for more than the perfect portrait. I’m looking for them, the expressions, the personality, the little things that make them yours.

I learned how important those things are because of him.

Flash ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️💙💙💙💙

At 9 years old he was surrendered to the shelter. Abandoned, in pain and confused. He has worked very hard to get his life back.

He is now 10 and is looking for a second chance family who will give him just a bit of time and patience at first. They will also have to understand that as a senior he has some aches and pains too!!

Flash has had significant dental surgery and recently had a growth removed from his eyelid. He has had the best of veterinary care and is in good shape with the exception of a bit of arthritis which he takes daily medication for.

Flash likes a short walk and just to hang out with his people. He is really a happy who responds well to a positive upbeat environment!!

I’m looking to expand my portfolio and create new advertising content for Golden Paws Photography!

I’m seeking models for complimentary photo sessions in the following categories:

In exchange for a free session, participants must be comfortable with their images being used for marketing, advertising, social media, website content, and promotional materials.

There is absolutely no obligation to tip, but it is always appreciated.

To keep my portfolio diverse, preference will be given to individuals and families who have not previously participated in a model call.
