rehearsal dinner for and and truly most intentional beginning to their wedding weekend;

Friday night felt like the beginning of something you could feel before you could even put it into words… an intimate dinner tucked inside the restaurant, surrounded by their closest family and friends, slowly unfolding into a welcome party filled with so much warmth, laughter, and love.

Montauk showed off in the most effortless way — a perfect sunset melting into the night, the kind of light and air that makes everything feel softer, more present, more real. every moment just flowed… from dinner, to drinks, to everyone gathering outside, lingering a little longer, not wanting the night to end.

hours around the fire, conversations that drifted from light to deep without even trying, the kind of night where strangers feel like old friends and everything just clicks into place. and , a full moon above us, quietly manifesting clear skies — and somehow the universe listened.

but more than anything, it was the feeling of Taylor and Tyler being held by their people — so much intention, so much history, so much love in every direction. not just a rehearsal dinner, but the first heartbeat of a weekend that already felt unforgettable ✨

allow me to reintroduce myself because it’s been a minute 👋🏼

hi, I’m kelsey, the human behind ; usually somewhere a little off the map, camera in hand, chasing light and the feeling of being fully, wildly alive.

I’m a photographer, but more than anything, I’m someone who feels things deeply; the way the sun hits right before it dips behind the mountains, the quiet in between moments, the kind of laughter that makes your whole body ache. that’s the stuff I live for, and it’s what I’m always trying to hold onto through my work. you’ll usually find me outside, in the mountain or woods, barefoot in a field, or halfway across the country chasing a sunset. I love to travel, I love new places, and I may have a slight coffee addiction.

working with me is easy, unposed, and deeply authentic; I’ll guide you when you need it, but mostly I’m there to let things unfold naturally. I want you to feel like yourself, to move, to laugh, to just be because that’s where the magic actually lives. I built out of that same feeling, a desire to document life as it actually is. not overly posed or perfect, but real and emotional and a little messy; the in-between moments and the way it felt to be there.

I’m also a mom of three under five, which means my life is beautifully chaotic, loud, emotional, exhausting, and really, really full. this season is messy and wild and stretching me in every direction, but it’s also made me softer, more present, and more aware of how quickly everything changes and honestly, it’s changed the way I photograph people — I care less about perfection and more about creating something that actually feels like you… the kind that pulls you right back into those moments years from now.

this season of life feels like coming home to myself in a new way; choosing adventure and joy, even in the chaos and learning how to hold both at the same time. finding beauty in the in-between, in the messy, in the moments that don’t go as planned but somehow end up meaning the most.

so if you’re new here, I’m so happy you found your way here 🤍
and if you’ve been here for a while, thank you for staying, it truly means more than you know🙏🏽

POV: You grew up rewinding your parents’ VHS home videos… and now your wedding will be one your kids rewind someday.

There’s something so sacred about preserving a love story the way we learned to remember, grainy, imperfect, honest. The way memories used to live. The way they felt.

So we told this day the long way:
On 35mm film—each frame intentional, timeless, meant to be held.
On Super 8—soft motion, flickers of laughter, the in-between moments that can’t be staged.
And on Camp Snap CS-8 Digital/VHS—because some memories are meant to feel like home, like the living room floor, like pressing rewind just one more time.

This wasn’t about perfection.
It was about legacy.
About creating something your future kids will find one day, sit cross-legged on the floor, and watch you fall in love, over and over again.

Because the best memories don’t live in 4K.
They live in the feeling. 📼✨

S + N did it exactly the way it was meant to be done.

Just the two of them. A snow-covered mountaintop. A quiet lakeside chalet tucked away from the world. Farmer’s market florals. A wedding cake ordered five days before. They found me with seven days’ notice and secured an officiant just in time to make it all official.

I drove four miles down a snow-covered road with no cell service, trusting instinct to get me there. When I finally arrived, they pulled in at the exact same moment—still in regular clothes, a dress and a suit hanging in the back, and a car completely overflowing with flowers Natalie had picked up at the farmers market the day before.

Inside the chalet, everything slowed down. No rush. No timeline. Natalie built her own bouquet and floral arrangements by hand. They got dressed quietly, intentionally. The officiant arrived. They said their vows. They became married.

Afterward, we lingered. Cake on plates. Champagne in hand. Snow falling softly outside. We spent the next hour taking portraits, laughing, soaking it all in.

And then—the moment none of us will ever forget. Less than an hour after getting married, Sharoon’s wedding ring was gone.

Panic. Silence. Then instinct.

I grabbed my camera and flipped through the photos, and there it was. A single frame where you could literally see the ring slipping off his finger, frozen mid-fall into the snow.

As blue hour settled in, we ran back outside. Snow everywhere. Light fading fast. And somehow—against all odds—we found the ring.

Cold hands. Deep breaths. Laughter. Relief.

Unplanned. Intimate. A little chaotic. Completely perfect.

This is what happens when you let a wedding be about love, not logistics. This is the kind of magic you can’t plan for.
