If you haven't already, you'll notice some changes in my website! I sat down and really had a heart-to-heart with myself on where I wanted to focus my business and where I wanted to grow. So, you'll see that I am no longer doing weddings. I've also taken my booking page down as over the past year my clients used the contact page or messaged me on social media way more than the booking page! 😀 I'm super excited to see where the next year takes this business and what moments I am asked to capture!

One thing I love about having different avenues of my photography is that I get to express different forms of creativity. With portraits, I get to play with poses and light, but I always strive to meet my clients' expectations. With nature and wildlife, I get to be a little bit more artistic on the photo. I don't typically do too much post editing, but sometimes I like to play, and that is what you guys are seeing in these few posts from my trip out west! Hope you enjoy!

It's been a busy year with starting a new job, starting my own photography business, and having back surgery. I've had to prioritize what I focused on, pushing things I've really wanted to work on to the bottom of my list in order to meet other timelines. But, here we are, 1 year and 3 months later, and I'm able to edit photos I took while out in Minnesota, South Dakota, and Wyoming. This is one of those things that I have pushed and pushed to the bottom of my list, and I am so excited to start sharing some of these photos with you!

Happy September everyone! It's been a busy couple of months over here! This week I'm in Atlanta, GA enjoying 4 days of ProgPower USA. This year is different though as I left ALL of my gear at home! Yep, I'm simply just enjoying the moment and I am loving it (pic is from my phone)!

It's been super busy between my 9-5, my back surgery, and travel these last few months but, September is shaping up to be a quiet month and I.Am.Here.For.It! What are you looking forward to in September?!

Lastly, I am getting ready to celebrate Summit Moon Photography being 1 year old with all of you! I've been soaking this milestone in these past couple weeks!
