As a new week begins, I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for following along on this journey through my photography. Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or recently joined, your likes, comments, shares, and encouragement mean more than you know.
I feel truly blessed to be able to share the beauty of nature, wildlife, and the places I love with such a wonderful community. Thank you for supporting my passion and taking the time to stop by my little corner of the world.

The man-made nesting platform at the Delores Fenwick Nature Center doesn’t seem to be winning any popularity contests this year. Even the Grackles appear to be turning up their beaks at it! 😄

My guess? It may simply be too new. With a little more weathering and time to blend into the natural surroundings, it could become a much more attractive nesting site next season.

Nature has a way of deciding what works—and what doesn’t. It will be interesting to see if the birds give it a second look next year.

👑 Marshland royalty, these two Great Blue Heron nestlings won’t be in the nest much longer.

Standing tall and proud, they’re quickly growing into the next generation of wetland rulers. Fledging day is just around the corner, and soon they’ll be spreading their wings and beginning life beyond the nest.

It’s been incredible to watch their journey from tiny, downy chicks to these majestic young birds.

Happy National Trails Day! 🥾🌿

Today is a great reminder to get outside, explore, and appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us. Whether it’s a winding forest path, a coastal boardwalk, or a local nature trail, every journey offers an opportunity to slow down, connect with nature, and discover something new.

As a photographer, some of my favorite moments happen along the trail—where unexpected wildlife encounters, beautiful landscapes, and changing light create memories worth capturing.
