CJI Aerial is seeking a reliable and motivated seasonal operator to assist with daily aerial applications within our May-Sep spray season. This role supports precision ag operations by operating drones for crop applications, scouting, and other various data collection. The ideal candidate is a go-getter who is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced seasonal environment.
Responsibilities
-Assist with daily aerial application operations using agricultural drones.
-safely operate/monitor drones for spraying, mapping, and crop monitoring.
-Prepare, load, and clean drone equipment and application systems.
-Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections and basic maintenance.
-Accurately follow and create application plans, field boundaries, and safety protocols.
-Work with other team members, applicators, and farm operators closely to ensure quality results.
-Adhere to all FAA, state, and local regulations related to UAS operations and pesticide applications.
-Maintain detailed logs of flight activities, technical issues, and data collected for reporting purposes.
Qualifications & Requirments
-Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (we will provide paid training and materials to obtain).
-Applicator license (we will provide paid training and materials to obtain).
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
-Ability to work long hours during peak season.
-Ability to drive to Fergus Falls office location.
-Be agile enough to climb up and down our work trailers all day in the summer heat.
