We are incredibly stoked to share it with y’all. The support for this short film has been amazing. A happy hour beer turned into a collaboration of some of Arkansas’ most rad individuals. Justice Berry, thanks for pouring your heart into this film. Daniel Davis and the Daniel Davis, your team saying YES brought this project to a new level.

It also wouldn’t have been possible with Jason Denney, RiG’d, and jimi_sendricks . Thanks for supporting small projects. It means the world.

So much gratitude to everyone of the crew poured their blood sweat and tears into this project. And lastly, shout out to The DARK SKINNED GHOST. for bringing the soundtrack to life with his track “How Sad”.

This film brought our team back to Canada for Banff and Telluride for Mountainfilm. It was an honor to share a story from Arkansas on the world stage.

And to everyone who has seen it on the big screen, go watch, like, share, and help us continue the momentum online!

Life is moving FAST. Let’s take some time to slow down and look at some highlights from this year so far. Here’s some fun BTS captured along the way in no particular order.

We did a creative campaign for our friends at Heirloom at The 1907.

We wrapped the feature film LEONARD HECK.

We hosted a dive in at the The Momentary.

We brought Jaunt Short Film to Mountainfilm.

We turned our studio into an automotive art show with Express Rally, Daniel Davis, and One-Up Moto Garage | Custom Motorcycles.

We produced a music video for the The DARK SKINNED GHOST..

We have more BLK ELK originals in the works and we’re looking forward to collaborating with more clients to round out the year with a bang.

Thanks for watching.

It’s a beautiful thing to experience the way life weaves paths of people together over time. We first met Chef Jason Paul more than a decade ago while working on a project for Downtown Rogers. He was calm, cool, and collected as they say, but the thing that made the biggest impression on us was that you could really feel that he LOVES being a culinary creative. Our paths continued to cross over the years usually while Chef was cheffing and we were capturing some event (shout out to the OG Fayetteville Roots Fest). When the new Heirloom opened up we knew that Chef and Danielle were going to take people on an outright journey.

“My first heirloom experience was so insane. Watching the team whip up all kinds of crazy delicious dishes while Chef nodded his head to the “Money Trees” by Kendrick Lamar showed me a side of the culinary world I hadn’t experienced before or honestly since then.” -

We really wanted to capture that experience on this project. The feelings that Heirloom leaves you with. The unfiltered authenticity of self culminated right there on a dish for you to enjoy while your brain wanders the sweet melodies of a curated playlist.

We are incredibly grateful to work with people like Chef, Danielle, the amazing team at Heirloom and Pinky Swear, and all the people who helped behind the camera on this project.

Cheers to art of all forms 🥂

A special thanks to , and Dr. Skinner of the University of Arkansas physics department for letting us have fun with the Chladni Plate.
