Being form Arkansas, football on Saturdays is something special. We do not have any NFL teams and the whole state has adopted the Razorbacks as our "professional" team. Travel around Arkansas and you will some sort of Razorback memorabilia, license plates or clothes, on just about anyone.

What is this RAW file option on my camera? Raw files are named so because they are not yet processed and therefore are not ready to be printed. Raw image files are sometimes called digital negatives, as they fulfill the same role as negatives in film photography.

Shutter speed controls the ability to show or stop motion in a photograph. It is the MOMENT that light is exposed (recorded) on your digital sensor and the length of the exposure.That’s it. Shutter speed is set by fractions (remember math in school)

In Digital Photography ISO measures the sensitivity of the image sensor. The same principles apply as in film photography – the lower the number the less sensitive your camera is to light and the finer the grain.

A lens’s aperture is a hole that opens to let in more light and closes to let in less light. Just like the iris in your eye, The larger the aperture, the more light will hit your sensor, the smaller the aperture the less light will hit your sensor.

First, let’s state the obvious – photography is ALL about a great camera, right? WRONG, I’d say that is one huge misconception about photography, “Wow, how beautiful! Your camera is so nice!” “Your camera takes such nice pictures!!!!”

Even though I was born and raised in Arkansas, sometimes I'm in awe about how beautiful this state is. I guess it earns the nickname "The Natural State".
