I was privileged to meet some inspiring individuals yesterday, who shared powerful stories about the lasting impact of su***de on their loved ones and how it has forever changed their lives. Some shared their personal struggles with suicidal thoughts with remarkable courage. Please be assured that you are a vital part of someone's life, and your existence is a treasured gift. Always remember, you possess greater strength than you think, and you are never alone. You are loved, and you matter.

It was a somber day witnessing the precession, yet a powerful reminder of the impact one life can have. A police officer, volunteer firefighter, husband, and father, Timothy Ontiveros, tragically lost his life due to a careless act. I continue to pray for his family, and for our community, that we may find strength in our shared grief. The beauty that has emerged from this darkness is the outpouring of prayer and support from our community. The strength we've shown through donations and fundraising events is a testament to our resilience. Sometimes, the darkest moments bring out the brightest lights, illuminating the way forward.
