Drone being used in a hot air balloon rescue in east Texas. The occupied hot air balloon crashed into a tower and left two people stranded for hours. Good job getting a drone deployed and making the grab!!

This week I completed my required biennial training and testing to maintain my FAA remote pilot certification. Im good to go for two more years!

Please be advised that the parade route for this weekend’s Mardi Gras parades is a NO-FLY ZONE for drones in and around the parade area.

⚠️ Operating a drone in this area is strictly prohibited.

⚠️ Violations are a felony offense, and drones will be confiscated.
These restrictions are in place to ensure the safety of parade participants, spectators, and first responders. Thank you for your cooperation as we work to keep everyone safe.

The Ike is hosting a massive storm recovery staging site in West Monroe, LA. One parking lot is nearly empty but it's assumed that it is filled with linemen trucks at night. There are linemen from 20 different states working here!
