In January, I had the honor of attending the Beyond the Portrait workshop, hosted by the incredibly talented ♥ I am so grateful for the experience and for the chance to learn from Jonny. His knowledge is deep and generous, and I still return to the notes I took that day.

The workshop also offered space to connect with a number of phenomenal artists. A few of the gifted souls I met include .negative, .thephotographer, and .

Editing these images has felt intimidating (and still does), in part because they are stylistically different from the work I have done before. Still, I wanted to share five photographs created in collaboration with the brilliant souls who brought this workshop to life: Jonny, the models, the makeup artist Oksana, and my fellow photographers. I hope I have done them justice, and I am excited to continue exploring and playing within this style ♥

I don't often take on senior sessions, but this one was something special.

Anna brought so much laughter, ease, and radiant energy to our time together. It felt less like a photoshoot and more like a celebration in motion.

Reflecting on this darling couple's session with Wyn and Bea 🖤

Wyn (they/them) and Bea (she/her) graciously volunteered to step in front of my camera for a partner session, and I am still smiling about it.

From the very beginning, they moved together with so much joy, care, and playfulness. Their connection was effortless to witness and a gift to photograph. Every glance, every laugh, every quiet touch. It was all so full of mutual love.

Truthfully, it was nearly impossible to choose which images to edit because each frame felt like a favorite.

Wyn and Bea, thank you for trusting me. This time together was a treasure 🖤

My time creating with Steph last year continues to rest warmly in my heart. There is an ease and intuition to the way she moves through the world, and being in creative conversation with her felt like witnessing quiet magic unfold. Fargo holds so many luminous souls, and I feel grateful to share space with artists whose work and presence leave quiet ripples of inspiration. ✨️

Kelsey and Nick were married yesterday in Duluth, Minnesota, with the wind dancing in off of Lake Superior and love wrapped around every quiet detail.

Their wedding was planned in just one month, yet every piece felt thoughtful, heartfelt, and completely their own.

It was such a joy to photograph their day, even with the blustery cold sweeping through the shoreline. I am already looking forward to finishing the rest of their gallery.
