Tonight is the Opening Reception for the Tri Lakes Center for the Arts Member Exhibition 2012. I am a bit nervous so anyone who shows up that I can lean on would be greatly appreciated. I am unveiling a new painting "Liberty" a portrait of a bald eagle. It should be fun, the people at "Tri Lakes" are a wonderful group of people.

I have made the step back to my fine art roots and have been painting again. There is a Great Horned Owl that lives behind my house and I see him almost every night. He was the inspiration for this painting. I hope I don't have to explain to my friends that this IS a painting. I hope to explain the process of making "Seeker" in the next few weeks. All the best!
