There's something we can all learn from youth sports.

Not the score. Not the standings. Not the trophies. It's something much bigger..

✨The way a kid puts an arm around a teammate after an error.

✨The way both teams bow their heads together before the first pitch.

✨The way they celebrate each other's successes and keep showing up after their failures.

And to be honest, somewhere along the way, many of us adults outgrow that kind of grace.

But every season, from the sidelines, I'm reminded by a bunch of 8-10yr olds:

🫶Encourage loudly.
🫶Forgive quickly.
🫶Show up for your people.
🫶Play your part.
..And remember that WHO you become matters more than WHAT you win.

The game will end. The season will too. BUT these small moments—the ones that teach our kids how to treat people—are the ones worth remembering. 🫶
