One of my favorite places, Camp Pyle. This is a rare sight in Iowa with many acres of restored prairie land, a meandering creek with limestone cliffs and a large pond. I was fortunate enough to camp here in October. The only sounds heard out here are the frogs croaking, a distant cow moo, crickets chirping and of course, intermittent Iowa thunderstorms. This shot was taken in the late evening on our clearest night out there.
