My trip to the historic Wiscasset, Waterville and Farmington Railway Museum with my mom, friend, and dog was an absolute dream come true, especially since bringing my dog on a train has always been a lifelong goal of mine. As someone who thinks trains are the coolest things in the world, it was incredibly fascinating to step back in time and experience history firsthand. A major highlight of the visit was getting a behind the scenes look inside the shop to see their brand new passenger car and the progress on a future locomotive, and a machine that will more than likely outlive me! And that I am part of the population to have seen it in the making, just so cool! Between the amazing people I met and getting to see history in the making, it was a deeply enjoyable, unforgettable experience, and I can't wait to see the crew keep up the fantastic work.
