How do you sell a cabin experience?
You don't start with the cabin.
You start with the people enjoying it.
This week, we spent an evening at Country Acres Campground creating new photo and video content for Lancaster Cabins as they continue rolling out their refreshed brand.
Before heading to the campground, we captured a series of social media videos at their shop and nearby lot. Then it was time for the main event—a lifestyle shoot featuring an incredible family of actors helping bring the Lancaster Cabins experience to life.
Lifestyle photography and video are some of the most effective marketing tools because they help people picture themselves in the experience. Instead of simply showing a product, you're showing the memories, connections, and moments that product makes possible.
Of course, making those moments look natural takes a lot of work behind the scenes.
Balancing changing light, coordinating schedules, directing talent, and keeping everything moving smoothly is always a challenge. Alex did an amazing job, as always, directing the talent and using lighting—and even a little fog—to shape the mood of each scene.
A huge credit also goes to Phil from Lancaster Cabins for assembling a fantastic group of actors. The kids especially were a breeze, taking direction like seasoned professionals and helping create authentic moments throughout the day.
We even had a little extra fun creating a commercial that's currently in production. Stay tuned.
Projects like this are a reminder that great marketing isn't just about showing what you sell.
It's about helping people imagine themselves enjoying it.
